Music Night

One couple we've been privileged to know for 3 summers now are the musically talented Don & Peggy. We understand that Don is professionally a piano tuner and they travel a circuit combining music, work and pleasure in their cab-over camper. Their Florida license plate ID is "OFFKEY". Clever. Don is an accomplished keyboard and sax player; here he's working at an arrangement under the patio awning of their camper. And Peggy is a classically trained flutist (or is it flautist?).
Backing up a little, another camper, Katie Mullens, who takes photos to provide material for her very professional paintings (musical artists are a favorite subject) allowed me to download these pix off her camera. In the process I became better acquainted with Katie and her artwork, gained a friend with whom I'd be happy to share my photos anytime.
Last summer I started bugging Don about including myself in the traditional annual "Music Night", and this year we actually got it together. I prepared a sheet with words to some familiar Pop and Christian songs to promote a sing-along by the Happy Hour attendees on that early August evening. Don, Peggy and I all had a great time making music together.
I sang my karaoke standards, "You Made Me Love You," and "September Song," and led the group in others..."Just a Closer Walk", "Amazing Grace," "MoonRiver", etc etc. It was great fun!
